Periodontal (Gum Disease) Treatment

To diagnosis and prevent gum disease  at its earliest point is our focus. Once diagnosed, treatment for gum disease can include non-surgical treatment in-office for earlier stages, and/or referral to a specialist when necessary.

 

Signs of gum Disease can include:

 

  • Bleeding gums

  • Puffy, red, and sore gum tissues

  • Bad Breath

  • Receding gums

  • Loose teeth possibly related to loss of bone around the teeth

There are a few ways we offer periodontal treatment at Lawhon Dental. 

  • Antibiotic therapy: Such as Arestin, can be used to treat this disease and may be recommened as part of your overall care plan.

  • Laser Therapy
